Community Events and Information

This is the weekly update with the upcoming activities involving the Senators in the community. This will be updated weekly. Thursday, August 28 – Strawberry Square - 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Fan Jam and the Senators Prize Wheel will be at Strawberry Square during lunch time.

Saturday, August 30 – Kipona Festival – 12:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m.
Rascal will be downtown for Harrisburg’s Kipona Festival on Front Street.

Monday, September 1 – MDA Telethon – 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Manager John Stearns, Two Senators Players, Radio Broadcaster Terry Byrom & Rascal will be at the Radisson Penn Harris Hotel in Camp Hill to help with the MDA Telethon.

Upcoming events that benefit the Community:

Sunday, August 24 Erase Hunger at the Harrisburg Senators Game
The Harrisburg Senators will be giving away Equipment Bags to the first 1,000 Fans that bring at least two non-perishable food items to be donated to a local food bank.

Sunday, August 31 Helen O. Krause Animal Foundation, Inc. (HOKAFI) Jersey Raffle & Auction
The Harrisburg Senators will be raffling and auctioning off player worn jerseys to help raise funds for HOKAFI. The funds from the raffle and auction will help fund HOKAFI’s non-profit, no-kill shelter for animals in Mechanicsburg.

Donations in the past week:

The Senators have made over 500 donations since October. The Senators are continuing to reach out to local organizations and have donated tickets or merchandise to the following groups in the past week: Central PA JDRF, Central Pennsylvania College, Pinnacle Health, Lower Dauphin Middle School, Keystone Area Council of Boy Scouts of America, American Heart Association, Mustang Club of Central PA & Bainbridge Church of God.
