| SENATORS SNAP LOSING STREAK WITH 8-2 WIN OVER READING
On Monday night in Reading, the Senators moved to 7-4 on the season with an 8-2 win over the Phillies. Bobby Brownlie picked up his first win of the season, pitching six strong innings. Meanwhile, the Senators offense, quieted the past two games broke out of their mini-slump with eight runs on eleven hits. Yurendell de Caster led the way with three hits while William Bergolla and Ian Desmond both chipped in with two. The Sens took a 1-0 lead in the first on an unearned run then in the fifth, plated four runs on four hits. Ian Desmond singled, Brownlie sacrificed him to second, then a walk drawn by Mike Daniel which was followed by four run-scoring at bats. Those at bats were a double by Bergolla, a single by Justin Maxwell, an rbi ground out by Luis Jimenez and a single by de Caster. Harrisburg broke the game open in the eighth with three runs on five hits. Harrisburg remains in first place for a fourth consecutive day and will look for their third series win in four tries on Tuesday night at 6:35pm. Shairon Martis takes the hill for the Sens against LH Josh Outman for Reading. The Senators return home on Thursday night at 6:05pm with the first of four games against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.
