SENATORS POUNDED NEW HAMPSHIRE 14-4
Fisher Cats score early and often in win
The Senators had a chance to win a road series for the first time this season, instead they fell hard to New Hampshire 14-4. David Maust started for the Senators and was roughed up in falling to 2-6 on the season. The Fisher Cats scored in every inning between the 2nd and 6th innings, including a five-run explosion in the 4th to put the game out of reach. Three Senators had two hits, Josh Whitesell, Salomon Manriquez, and Seth Bynum but it wasn't nearly enough. Melvin Dorta went 0 x 5 to see his 13 game hitting streak come to an end. The Senators have won three of their past five overall, and three of the past five on the road and now head to New Britain. The longest road trip of the season will see the Senators play four games in three days in New Britain. The series gets underway on Tuesday night at 6:35pm with the Rock Cats as RHP Justin Echols will be on the mound for the Senators. The game can be heard on 1460 The Ticket and through the Senators website beginning at 6:20pm.
