SENATORS FALL TO ERIE
The SeaWolves win their seventh straight
The Senators dropped their second straight home game, this time to the Erie SeaWolves 6-2. The SeaWolves have won seven straight now, and three of the past four games against the Senators at Commerce Bank Park. The Senators took a 1-0 lead in the first inning when Melvin Dorta doubled, was moved to third on a ground out by Dan DeMent and then scored on a sacrifice fly by Kory Casto. After falling behind 2-1 in the third, Jesus Feliciano led off the bottom of the third with his first home run of the year to tie the game. Erie then took control of the game by scoring single runs fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth innings to back up the complete game win for Nate Bumstead. It's the first nine-inning game against the Senators this year. The four-game continues on Tuesday night with a 6:05pm start. LHP Oscar Alvarez goes to the mound for the Senators opposed by RHP Humberto Sanchez for Erie. The game can be heard beginning at 5:50pm on 1460 The Ticket and through the Senators website.
